Egodeni Care Centre was founded by Reformed church of South Africa, under the guidance of Nederlands missionaries,who saw how few safe, properly resourced places existed nearby for children with disabilities — and started one. What began as a personal commitment has grown into a registered care centre offering day care, boarding, and full residential support, run in partnership with the Department of Social Development.
Every child who comes through our doors is assessed individually, and every routine — meals, hygiene, learning, rest — is built around keeping them safe and giving them dignity.
